About Mani Osteria and Bar
Mani Osteria is an independently owned, family friendly restaurant, specializing in artisanal pizzas and other creative Italian dishes prepared in wood-burning ovens.
The name MANI, means βhandsβ or βhand-madeβ in Italian. An Osteria is an Italian eatery much like a tavern that emphasizes local ingredients, small production wines, and hospitality.
Our full bar focuses on regional craft beers, reasonably priced old and new world wines and specialty cocktails inspired by classic Italian and American spirits.
Mani Osteria is conveniently located downtown Ann Arbor at the corner of Liberty and Division. We are walking distance from Michigan Theater, Hill Auditorium, Power Center and Main Street.

Everything here was superb! Pedro, our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu! We thought we were pressed for time, and would stick with appetizers. We were seated within five minutes- the best seats in the house - at the chef's counter - where we had a prime view of every dish leaving the kitchen! We ordered the Pickled tomatoes (based on reviews), arancini, and meatballs. Everything came out so quickly, we even added a Puttanesca pizza, and we were still in and out in 50 minutes to make it to our concert. Who I would assume was the manager, Joe, stopped by to see how everything was- we had a really nice chat with him and ended up with fresh cannolis for dessert. Great atmosphere, friendly staff! We will be back to try more of the menu!

Wow! What a fun dinner. We were lucky enough to sit at the kitchen table overlooking the food operation. It was an operation to say the least. The flow and efficiency of the kitchen really came through in the quality and care that was put into the food. Everything was top notch. Go now if you can!

Lovely dinner experience at Mani Osteria! Moonstruck cocktail was incredible, especially on the extremely hot day we dined. My partner had a draft Oberon which was crisp and refreshing. The tomato appetizer was the star of the evening with deliciously fresh tomatoes and olive tapenade for crostinis. Server was friendly, attentive, and quick, he frequently refilled our water glasses. Enjoyable experience overall!

Celebrated my sisters graduation with a family style dinner at this spot. Was my first time here. Our server, Rachel , was amazing ! Very attentive - easy to communicate with. Food was great and served promptly - I especially loved the vodka pasta. One item was missed with our meal by mistake but Rachel made sure to get it made and packaged to go. I also ordered a Shirley temple and it came with copious amount of cherries - yum!!! My only advice - is I know the reservation was booked for a certain amount of time - but we were asked to leave our table 10 mins before that end of the reservation. The manager was very kind about it - everything was great, I just wish they had honored that time slot. I would totally go here again or recommend this place for a date or celebration.
